Ace Of Cups: A Gift Of Love!

Ace Cups

I’ve talked about the Ace of Cups before. How one of its meanings is ‘a gift of love’. Well today I experienced a totally Ace of Cups moment so I thought I would share.

I mentioned recently how I’m being moved out of the art room and into a shared classroom this year. And that I’m slightly terrified at the prospect. Not so much being in the classroom. More sharing a space with another teacher. I don’t even share my bed. All holidays I’ve been dreaming about this scenario. Stalked in my sleep by my fears.

Today I bumped into the teacher I’ll be sharing with at the supermarket. She’s new to the school where I teach and has kept herself to herself pretty much. That’s a big part of why I’ve been feeling uncomfortable about working with her. At the end of last year when the decision was made for us to share she didn’t seem very interested in discussing the situation.

Well you could have knocked me over with a feather this afternoon. Not only did she go out of her way to talk to me for a considerable period of time she even gave me a lovely long hug after I informed her of a family situation that has been a bit wearing lately. Her warmth completely put me at ease over our future partnership. Now that is a gift of love!

I’m a big believer that it’s the little moments that count in life. I’m going to cherish this one.┬áHave you had an Ace of Cups moment recently? Please share.
